Lower Back Workout 2
3. Reverse Swiss ball back extension

This hits the very bottom of your back to balance out the muscle gains in part one.

Sets: 2 / Reps: 10

Target: lower back

Lie face-down on a Swiss ball. Put your arms out in front of you and hold a bar or other anchor. Now raise your legs off the floor until your body is in a straight line from neck to ankle. Pause, then lower your legs again.

Expert tip: This exercise concentrates the workload on the bottom section of the lower back muscles, increasing strength and balancing out the gains in muscle size.
