Gym ball prone jackknife

Get into a press-up position with your feet on top of the ball. Lock your shoulders, keeping your arms slightly bent. Bring your knees towards your chest, then go back to the outstretched position.

Gym ball press-up (hands on ball)

Place your hands on the ball, keeping a straight line from your head to your ankles.

Lie across the ball, brace your abs and keep your legs outstretched. Bend your knees to stabilise.
 
Ball squat (against wall)

Ball squat (against wall)

Hold a ball against a wall using the small of your back, keep your feet about shoulder-width apart with your toes facing forward.
 
Swiss ball Russian twist

Gym ball Russian twist

Sit on top of the ball and hold a dumbbell with your arms outstretched. Keep your hips strong and square and rotate down to one side and back to the starting position.
 
Swiss ball split squat

Gym ball split squat

Hold the ball against the wall using the small of your back. Adopt the split stance position and come down to about an inch above the floor.

Sit on a ball so your buttocks and back are supported, lean back on the ball as far as is comfortable with your hands at your temples.
