The articulating cuff allows the upper section of the boot to move independently creating consistent heel hold. To celebrate ten years in the snowboard boot-making business DC have re-issued their first ever boot, the Serum. This relaunched version retains the classic design of the original boot but features cutting-edge technology, such as a 3D tongue for added forward flexibility, an adjustable internal ankle brace for better fit and a heel airbag for solid cushioning.

Burton SLX, £280

The most advanced boot in the Burton range. It's got a Therm-ic heat pre-wired liner, which can be plugged into a power source and heated up so you've got toastie boots when you hit the slopes.
