Though rich in vitamin A, C and folic acid, this smoothie is more valuable for its phytochemicals. Each ingredient helps to protect the heart and arteries and can ward off high blood pressure. The mint also aids digestion and makes it tastier to drink.
Ingredients
2 medium tomatoes
2 medium spring onions
1 garlic clove
6 leaves mint
1 small jalapeƱo pepper
medium cucumber
125ml soya milk
Whizz all the ingredients except the soya milk in a blender, then stir in the milk at the end.
