Build strong bones

They're the basis for a strong body. Boost your bones with this calcium-rich smoothie

Ingredients

2 figs
Small handful almonds
200ml natural yoghurt
100ml milk
1 banana

Blend the figs and the milk, which are both good sources of calcium, then add the almonds, banana and yoghurt. The nuts are rich in manganese to promote good bone structure and yoghurt contains phosphorous to boost bone rigidity, while the potassium in the banana prevents calcium being lost in the urine.
