Ingredients
3 organic carrots, unpeeled1 small beetroot, unpeeled with leaves
1½ red peppers, deseeded
A handful of fresh parsley, with stems
A handful of fresh spinach
This smoothie is rich in potassium, which wards off irritability, and folic acid, which reduces the risk of low moods. It’s also super-rich in immune system-boosting vitamins A, E and C to stop you getting ill, which is always guaranteed to blacken any mood. It also contains useful amounts of mood-enhancing B vitamins.
