Last month Crussh launched the Strawberry Smoothie Lab, offering smoothie lovers the chance to create their very own smoothie and have it freshly made at one of their juice bars. For the most innovative inventor there was a chance to win a month’s free supply of their favourite smoothies.
The ‘Brazilian Berry Burst’ which is a blend of 98% fat-free probiotic yoghurt, strawberries, acai, apple juice and a Guarana Booster was June's winning smoothie created by Laura Emmerson from Crussh’ Eastcastle store.
We've got our hands on the winning recipe - why not give it a try?
- 2 tablespoons of yoghurt. If possible always try and use organic which you can find in most super markets
- Add a handful of seasonal British strawberries and add them to blender. To save time in the week clean, cut and freeze your strawberries. That way they last all week and it’s ice cold and refreshing!
- Add a couple of splashes of apple juice to sweeten it up
- 4-5 Acai berries (these little gems boast 10x the antioxidant benefits of grapes and twice that of blueberries!
- One shot of Guarana (Great natural energy boost)
Now blend until it’s smooth and enjoy!
If you fancy creating your own strawberry infused smoothie then check out the Crussh Smoothie Lab. Here you can submit your ideas and be in with a chance of winning a month's supply of delicious smoothies.
